More about Idle Air Valve
Well the vendor emailed and said they were out of stock on the air valve. I'm not surprised. I'm thinking about retrofitting the electrically heated version from an early 240: Bosch P/N: 0 280 140 104 (1975 only B20F).

Idle Air Valve
We got the car running, but suffering from a hunting idle. Turns out the D-Jet idle air valve is bad - never closes even when the car is hot. The p/n, taken off the part is 0 280 140 013. Word seems to be these things are unobtainable, but googling the p/n produced maximum auto parts who claim to have it available for $113.83. We ordered one - let's see if it shows up.
