Wrong steering column

Received replacement used steering column from revolvstore. The linkage at the steering box end is completely different. It'll have to go back. Bugger!

Cylinder head

The cylinder head we're putting on is a rebuilt one from BHP. It has been milled down to B20E specs to get the allowed 10.5:1 compression ratio. Here are some pictures.

Here's the fuse panel. Going to have to clean this thing up a little. Posted by Hello

Here's the new fuel injection wiring harness. Doesn't look like much for $355 does it? Well if it makes the car work reliably it's well worth the money. Posted by Hello

Ordered used steering column

The original steering column had been cut and welded for a removable steering wheel (the cheap kind). I ordered a used replacement from http://www.revolvstore.com/

And here are the wiring harnesses and D-Jetronic ECU. A new wiring harness is on order from Don Thibault at p1800.com. Posted by Hello

This is the dash crossbar we cut out, with nasty gauge panel stll attached. Posted by Hello

Here's the inerior with all the junk removed from the dash area Posted by Hello

Interior

Today we cut out the roll cage bar that runs across the dash. It was too hight and blocked the place where the gauges should go. We also ripped out the old angled gauge panel in the center of the dash, and removed the wiring harnesses, steering column and various bits of trim. We'll weld in a new bar lower down.

And here's the brake booster. Yuck! Posted by Hello
